Searching the Mayer's House

In these two colonies the inhabitants were living happily in their homes growing their own food and sharing with their neighbors, thus becoming a self-sufficent society. Living for years on the shore of the Teltow Kanal that was their border in the years of the DDR, having in the north the Sonnenalle Checkpoint, border point through which allowed the passage to the inhabitants of the West to cross the East with a special permit.
In June 2008, with the excuse of the construction of the A100 Highway, the people that was living in these two colonies, mostly elderly, were expelled, forcing them to move to apartments in large buildings in GroupiusStadt, south of Britz. These colonies were, for 4 years in total abandonment, without any use, vegetation ate houses, vandals destroy the structure, the walls served as a canvas for graffiti artists, also held numerous clandestine parties “Raves Parties”, and others houses were occupied by homeless people that saw in this four walls their refuge.
In January 2012, excavator remove all the houses of the two colonies, ending with what was once a living community of people growing their own food. To become once again a land coveted by the property market speculation.
When finally we found the house, hoping to find something interesting but we knew that we were not the first ones to enter into the house. Disillusioned we still looking and for our surprise in the upstairs in the attic, we found traces of Stanislav Dravoneg mixed with things from another person Homeless at the Mansard who had discovered before.
